Description: I found this old soft - faced hammer at my local scrapyard I really like the unique shape and the brass face. Not sure what kind of material the other face was originally but I only had this leftover hard plastic of unknown type. I don't think that grinding away the original metal to get a nice, shiny surface is worth ruining the history of the tool and the marks of the craftsman that used it. It's going to be used as a tool to hit things with. The handle is made from Beech with a Walnut wedge, coated with boiled linseed oil. Thank you very much for watching!
